It's not hard but the whole thing is ruddy heavy. I'm working outside on a wonky drive :eek:
I might as well go to work and earn the dollar to pay a man with the kit.
I know my limits :thumbs

You probably know someone who doesn't charge crazy amounts for a hourly rate too :thumbs :D
 
a local garage offered 400 cash, scrappy do work on cars and charge 40 hour
 
according to garages local its a 7/7.5 hour job:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I think that is the correct Nissan book time but most garages know how to do it in much less time than that.
Even at garage rates of as you say 40 quid, £200 labour seems fair .
 
two garages where i am, one wanted £500 and the other wanted £200 guess which one i'm using :lol
 
It's only nuts and bolts but like it's been said the box is a heavy lump.
I made a cradle for my trolley jack but it was still a pain as you have to twist the box to get the starter motor housing to clear the transmission tunnel.

i was tempted to do it myself but just haven't got the tools or location to do it
