pal, dollop it on the end-it will appear obvious when you look as it will be worn, but i just gave it a nice dollop and its been fine ever since. I just used good old fashioned multipurpose grease.

Grease on rubber is a no no, as I said before.
Don't know why you would do it.:nenau

Nothing to do with steering stops (not bump stops) - you've had enought good advice already - but as a fellow Francophile, where in this fair land are you?

I'm in 46800 St Pantaleon, about 25km west of Cahors. If you're close perhaps we could swap Terrano tales over 'aperos'?
