Clunk sound from n/s/f

hi guys just returned from norfolk 600mle round trip ran sweet smoothe trouble free :lol, while i was down there on the camp site it has slightly uneven ground once or twice ive heard like a grind sound when in full left hand lock coming from the n/s/f . i just put my t2 on the drive whilst doing this i used full right hand lock on some waste ground again the grinding sound appeared from n/s/f :doh
