you mean someone was paying for these photos? for what I wonder?
To all the girls who sent me PM's and wetting their nickers thinking I was trying to sell their photos, you can all relax now as I have managed to remove the link that is part of the default setup of the gallery
All I asked was why the pic's where up for sale!!
As for peeps selling pic's they have no copy right to do, some here have said so what! well I for one object to this, not long ago a pic of me at work was sold & I for one didn't like the idea of anyone making money from something they had not asked my permission to use.
Here it is..
ahhhh but the advertisers didnt ask your permission to make money from you driving the bus around with there ads on
addidas didnt ask your permission for you to advertise there trainers when you wear them ....
photobucket dont ask permission either
or youtube
how much did they pay for the pic . cos i just got my new screen saver for free (some geeza driving a number 82 bus ) love it:augie
Some of you guys really do need to read the thread before you jump to conclusions, I'll try and make it simple for you here.
Is that clearer now?
- I opened a SmugMug account to host the old gallery images.
- Part of the default setup with SmugMug has some sort of "buy this photo button" that I wasn't aware of.
- I received a few PMs from Club members expressing their displeasure that I was selling their photos, one even threatened legal action.
- I had the buy this photo button removed from the gallery.
I have to say that the reaction I received does make me question the intelligence of some :doh
Have a drink on me bat:lol:thumbs
My god you deserve one
