They will give discount if you are a member of a club/group anyway. Might not be as good as 15% though.

BEA utiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just rang up as my renewal is due on the 26th, already accepted a renewal price of £595 which came down from £970 from last year, quoted Craigs post and my renewal is now £551

The lady I spoke to said that the discount can be applied even if you are half way through your policy

will have to get a quote meself and declare all the mods ive done:eek:

They're only any good though, if you do a low mileage in the car, for people that mod, and have the car as their main vehicle, they can't help. In the end, I had to got the Elephant.co.uk who have been so helpful.

Worst still, once you have been to them for a quote, and they have refused to insure you as in my case, I did more than 6000 miles, it put's your insurance up when you go to other places, and they ask if you have been refused insurance...

So do be careful if you go to them for a quote.

for most cars over 15 years old you can get collectors policies if you belong to a club. around £150 fully comp for the year, over 23 only. i declare open season on insurance companies, wheres my gat? :sly

i'm with flux, i get 25,000 miles a year and declared all mods, any future mods wont put my insurance up either

They obviously didn't like me then.... messed me around, and then did as I said above...

are you sure it was adrian flux and not flux direct? flux direct are shite and customer service is beyond a joke

robbing buggers the lot of them! worse than the bankers for taking money out the working peoples hand, greedy beyond the bankers belief ! a whole system based on them paying out more £££ for what they know are fraudulent claims just so they can charge us more and take their pound of flesh in commission....

The less you say the better i find :clap

Dan at Adrian Flux Insurance

Hi everyone.

This is just a short introduction, I'm Dan and I've worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 25 years.

If any of you on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know. I have hand-picked a small but dedicated team of staff who with me will try and assist you wherever possible. I can assure you we will be completely impartial despite being on the payroll of Adrian Flux. If we have messed-up we will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected. If any of you do not understand an insurer’s viewpoint we will do our best to clearly explain it.

It could be problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With our many years of experience we should be able to answer most queries immediately. If there were issues or a problem that we can’t answer directly we would ensure that a relevant manager investigates these and we would then be able to relay an answer back.

I hope this will be of some help for you.

On behalf of myself and my team, thanks very much.

Dan.

It's all gone quiet now :lol

Well I can say Dan that you lot have bee ace to me the past couple of years :thumb2

you wait until you have been paying insurance for 20+ years, you will soon realise its daylight robbery, not singling out mr flux inparticular, just generally all insurers. as i said earlier, they know they are paying out rediculous amounts on phoney claims and pass this on to all the honest customers. rant over! octagon £321 fully comp protected ncb

OK, I just phoned spoke to Whitney, she needs my membership number.
She said I was entitled to a discount if I can prove membership, around £20, :clapwell worth it.
So how do I find me membership number?
