After mulling over the amount of work needed on the Terrano I decided to put him up for sale last night on Facebook market place.

Ridiculous amount of interest in him and a long line of people coming to view him. I've just let them down and taken him off sale, can't bear to part with him, bloody things got under my skin. Rare that happens with me and normally only bikes that do it. Looks like the welder will be coming out over the next few months. :D

Good stuff! :thumbs
It's the only car I've driven that makes me smile every time i drive it, not even hooning around in racing cars got the same reaction.
Bloody brilliant motors and probably better than Patrols too. ;)

It's going to take a while to do, not in a big rush. The important thing is to make sure everything is 100% right. He's going to be the overland type vehicle in the house so I will at least know him inside out. I always say you don't really know your vehicle unless you have taken it apart. :D

Lots of photos will be taken

Now I just need to find a dirt cheap one with mot to be running about in while I sort rusty trusty out

That one will get you the same, trust me it’s happened to me. These trucks should come with a health warning :lol

Start yourself a project thread in the project section.

Chances are that people on here will of come across all the same repairs too.

Think the only part on mine I've not had the welder to is the windscreen:lol:lol
Yep they definitely get under your skin:thumbs

I got quite excited when I read this as I read it as ----terrano 1------!!!!!!!!
Then after rereading it I think it is terrano 2 ???????
We would love to know of a Terrano 1 in UK----- ours is staying well away from all that salt and wet roads!!!!!!!----- it would be unforgivable to start rusting it away after keeping it so good for so long!!!!!!! We brought a few cans of waxoyl to put on it but to be honest it doesn't need it!!!
Nigel &Pamala------ Portugal

Yep, it a terrano 2.

I would love a terrano 1. There must be some in the uk.?

I think I shall be buying shares in waxoyl though :augie
