Very nice, lovely and shiny!! that battery is a bit limp isn't it ;)

It scrub up very well think I need to get some of this truck wash:augie

Whats that bottle for in the same spot that your battery occupies but on the other side

Mine doesn't have that so I presume Air Con? ABS?

If your on about the white bottle it's the washer bottle:lol later models have them here :thumbs

Looks good, so how do you apply the truck wash? Spray it on?
How do you wash it off? hose or power washer?

Just a quick note...
On your battery, you have an additional thick red wire going towards the cab.
It goes very close to the battery negative terminal:eek:.

Over time and with vibration, this could chafe and what you have then, is a direct short across the battery:eek:

What is it used for ... ICE ?
Do you think it would be appropriate to fit a suitable fuse as close to the battery as possible anyway?
One that doesn't produce a spark if it happens to blow, as it would be close to the explosive gasses given off from the battery.:nenau

Is the cable protected where it goes through the bulkhead, you don't want that to chafe either...

It doesent touch though dude :) and besides the casing on the wiring is absolutely massive too :thumb2

When I fitted my second battery, I ran the positive through some hose to provide additional protection.:thumb2

The easy option would be to add some plastic over braid to the amp power cable & you could then secure it to the neg cable with a cable tie, I ran mine the other way around the battery & over braided it:thumb2

I'll clean for you Alex on Saturday with some nice Essex mud :augie :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Sorry buddy, i used hot water with a truckwash solution mixed in a bucket and sponged it on, let is soak for a min or 2, then wash off well!

dont leave it on paintwork, you will get white streaks, strong stuff

I need to do mine as it's still manky inside with horrible mud stains from a Green Laning day last summer :lol

I did get round to Waxoyling her last night though

I made sure I covered up well and even wore a wooly hat as I learned lessons from the last time I did it :lol

I brought some of that Gunk De-Greaser, my mate said you paint it on with a paintbrush but I'm going to put it into a spray bottle and apply it like that then hose it all off

I get scared when I go near engine bays with pressure washers, too much to go wrong that water should be nowhere near
