When my cars @ 1500rpm there seems to be a slight lumpyness to it. It's ok @ 2000 and drives fine its just at 1500 ?. Anyone else's 2.7tdi do this, I'm going to run some injector cleaner through as when it was serviced you can tell the last owner didn't really do much in the way of maintenance :-(

Most likely the MAF sensor, plenty of threads on how to test and clean it.

Other than that it could be the mini filter... if fitted.


If it is only when it is cold from start up, then could be a faulty glow plug or two.

We cleaned maf (carefully lol ) the other day. Wheres the mini filter buddy does it all the time ? Cheers

Mini filter is in the fuel pump on the engine, under a union.
There is a write up on it.

As far as I recall, some do, some don't.

I think all Td's do as they were earlier.

Also check your fault codes, theres a download on doing this. Also I've heard of people having problems with No 1 Injector causing issues. Clivvy had issues with this so you could send him a PM or he may well pop up on here.

To me its an injector, I've got to go pick a car up from shropshire so ill wizz the injector cleaner in and give it a good run, prob won't work but worth a try

mine has done the same for the past 2 years , more noticeable on motorways get to around 1800 -2000 rpm and feel like missing a beat . not got any worse or better .
