This Infosheet contains advice to vehicle inspectors and inspecting organisations about corrosion that can occur in Nissan Terrano or Nissan Mistral vehicles of the type whose rear floorpan assembly consists of a two-layer (double-skin) panel. The primary safety concern is that corrosion in the rear floorpan area may affect the rear lower seatbelt anchorage points.

This has been on before and we've had discussion at length on how to repair if problem occurs in seat belt mounts.

I think this should be placed as a sticky for members to see in the future as it is a common problem

Yes - I think this should be flagged as important information for new owners and club members!

As in all seriousness - it could be a matter of life and death.

I have small children and of course will be making this check a priority now.
