Guess not many Nav owners here but seen trucks of all ages with severe corrosion even completely breaking their backs.

Aware of Facebook page dedicated to it.

Chassis failure at rear.

That looks pretty grim I wonder if its a problem from lack of under body treatment or a stress linked issue.

Reminds me of the old Lancia Betta corrosion problems back in 1972-75 with subframe rotting issues and factory did a buy back scheme.

You can get them braced up and don't thing its to expensive but worth pricing and taking that into consideration before buying one

Between the chassis and the engines, makes you think it isn't wise buying a Nav.

Looks like it's 05 to 08 models according to fb page, but as the guy says, how long will an 08 manufactured truck be sat waiting to be registered, bad shizzle.

Are the Path finders also affected?

Quick question, what year was it that renault got involved?

The Later Terranos are not immune from the Tin worm either.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but if I recall, at the time renault got involved, they removed the 3 grease nipples on the front prop shaft, replaced the auto hubs with fixed, and put a light weight rear diff on too.
Was it at this time they also replaced the aluminium thermostat housing with a plastic one.

All the original items worked very well, as my 21 year old Maverick shows, which is still on original parts.
