Are the mechanics up to taking extra power, and under shock loads, half shafts snap, so how much further can you go?

For a road car, I would rather get to my destination than have the extra power for 10 minutes and then get a lift home with the AA:doh

Easily, I'm around 180 bhp at the mo :D and running 35s Tough old lump the 2.7
Timbo had his at over 200 bhp :naughty Mind you he's an electronic wizzard.

You will only snap a shaft when the wheels gets air, builds speed then drops to the ground gaining grip.

It's all about fun ;)

Well all I can say is that 18psi is safe. Start sitting above 20 too long and the turbo gets eaten. Really need to have a better dump pipe and exhaust to make it work efficiently.

I guess its really how long you sit at full boost. I free-spooled mine for a little while, but watching the boost guage all the time becomes a pain.

You also need an EGT gauge with that sort of boost . I was up at 16/17psi but couldn't get enough fuel. So I went back to 15 but added LPG and modded the turbo comp wheel and housing. Power chipped the ecu and omph by the bucket load :naughty
