changing discs

Hi all, do i have to remove the halfshafts/ driveshafts to change the front discs?:nenau
 
Hi all, do i have to remove the halfshafts/ driveshafts to change the front discs?:nenau

remove the wheel, undo the bolts for the auto hubs and remove hub. then remove the circlip on the end of the driveshaft and slide off the washers etc and then the inner wheel bearing should just about fall out. then remove the 6 bolts around the hub and the disc and frame can be removed from the vehicle. the disc may need a little persuasion with a hammer to separate it from the frame.
then put it all back in reverse order making sure you grease all the greasy bits as it goes back together :thumb2

remove the wheel, undo the bolts for the auto hubs and remove hub. then remove the circlip on the end of the driveshaft and slide off the washers etc then remove the two pozidrive screws in the bearing ring, and unscrew the ring anti clockwise, then you can remove the bearings etc. and then the inner wheel bearing should just about fall out. then remove the 6 bolts around the hub and the disc and frame can be removed from the vehicle. the disc may need a little persuasion with a hammer to separate it from the frame.do not push back the drive shaft,, as it can be a pig to get back in so that you can get the circlip back on the end.
then put it all back in reverse order making sure you grease all the greasy bits as it goes back together :thumb2

You need to set the preload on the bearing with the outer ring with the two pozidrive screws in that lock it.
