Can anyone tell me how the centre dash fascia comes off please. It's the newer curved type on my 05 plate but think it was same from around 2000. It's had a replacement radio fitted with the double din plate with hazard switch. I want to get to the wiring looms to see if I can buy an adapter for steering wheel controls.

So far I've found two screws in ashtray aperture but that's all.

The single din plate and hazard switch on my 2004 just pulls off. I took out the radio and poked my fingers in the din hole and pulled from there. If I remember right there are just 4 spring steel clips holding it to the surround/backing.

As Ogri has said the surround just pulls out a small screw driver at the top edge helps just take your time. you can get the harnesses to work the steering wheel controls but their not cheap at around £40 & their different depending on the stereo that's been fitted & there is a chance the stereo doesn't have the steering wheel control function so google the stereo make & model to find out it's specs:thumb2
