Ok
So I changed the caliper on the front passenger side, without removing the complete caliper. Now I find that the damn thing is still not releasing so was going to change, clean, grease the slide pins. How do I remove them, please?
Thanks ,tezzer. Am I right in thinking the rubber dust covers need to be removed to allow access to the pins,or am I totally wrong? I do have another caliper which I could practice on. Not too sure exactly how to even try removing them.if the pin is seized, and wont budge, heat it up and it will release and come out, had to do mine awhile back, if you need a new pin let me now i should have some second hand ones. :thumb2:naughty

Stick a socket on the pin and the other end of the driver into your cordless drill:sly
Squirt some goosh down it and drill forwards and backwards:thumbs

Hi Liam
It was my understanding that as a rule of thumb the problem brake is the one opposite to the pull on the steering.
So in your case it could be the left hand side that is weaker and engaging with the disc later than the right hand side.

ps good luck with the truck
