Hi guys
Starting problems so I investigated.
There was no power to my buzz bar 2.7 by the way.
Loose connector on the relay so I fixed that.

There is now power on the blue and white cable up to the buzz bar from the relay as long as it's not connected to the buzz bar itself.
As soon as the connection is made to the buzz bar I lose all reading on my multimeter.

This can't be correct can it?
What's happening?
Cheers

However a trick iv read is to run a 12volt supply direct from the battery to the glowplug buzz bar.
I did this and she fired up no problem
What's going on?

It sounds like there is a high resistance joint somewhere... it allows enough current for a multi meter to read the voltage, but nowhere near enough to run the glowplugs.

My first guess would be the fuse, it's a big fuse, and on my car, it had water in it, so even though it was blown, there was just enough current flow to register 12v on the meter. The other guess is the actual relay, as it in a terrible position where it gets wet and cruddy, so even when it's not conducting, a small current can flow through the crud, between the pins.

Yeah my first thoughts are the relay and it’s connections too. It’s in the hole in the inner wing next to battery so you’ll probably have to remove the battery to check it over
