A guy at work has a petrol Xtrail, I think it's a 2.5, he swears by it (not at it), he's had no trouble at all, he's well into polishing and takes great care of it.
Not much more to say really.

we were looking at an espace after getting rid of a vw caravelle. luckily we found out about the engine run away problem. we looked at x trail after that and,after realising it was the ruddy french again, stumbled on the terrano. job done.
 
Petrol Xtrails are very under powered & drink fuel badly which is why you don't see many of them & I know a car dealer that won't take them in part ex even if you just gave them it:eek:
