Exactly, now it's off bin it and go bigger.
If you're doing any offroading , eventually, sooner or later, it'll bite your arse:p

have u got any photos of ur mod'ed bash plate? what did u attach it to? and have you got sizes ect? soz but reacon i'll need a bigger 1!

I been thinking about this and if to fit one or not. With the amount of soild i brought home from the last laning we did Emma planted her tomartoes in it. (Growing really well too) So i want something under there as well.

Are they easy to make if i go 6mm :nenau

they attach to the metal winch bumper then under the vehicle

Yeh mines from the u/s of the winch bumper back to the cross member. That's the only bit I'm worried about really, as the rest of the under belly is pretty safe really :thumbs

Front cross member is already tapped, so go from there back to diff subframe I guess.
Maybe extend the front part so it bends UP toward the bumper.
I'll have a spy at mine tomorrow :thumb2

can still see some of the damage but looks alot better

Checked under mine today and I reckon the way to go would be the front holes as I said on the front cross member. Then back to the lower wishbone subframe, it has a couple of good size holes there too. I'd defo go 6mm min though, so if you do twat it , it doesn't end up like a bit of coke can :thumbs

andy 4x4 bumper repair

hi thought i`d mention should it be use to anyone for further reference, as mentioned about drilling a hole at the end of ,also v the split with a dremel or drill, with a 6mm bit held at 45 degree angle on slow speed, with the crack v`d out on both sides if possible,it gives the fibreglass more of a key to the plastic. depending on what plastic it is, try a test area out of eyeline to repair with an old soldering iron. melt the plastic together be carefull not to breathe the fumes, then fill over or seal with epoxy glue,(araldite) or poundshop equivilent its the way bumpers were repaired when i worked in a garage over 20 years ago hope this can be of help Andy.
