I know it's been a while since I last did anything to my truck. Work work at the moment, and not in a place where I can play with my tools! I will get round to doing my rear shelf at some point before summer..

Quick question though, what do you guys think about those fuel injector cleaners that you shove in the fuel tank? Are they any good? Its been a while since I took the truck on a long drive and I'm wondering if it could do with a shot of that stuff.

I do not rate them at all, carbon is the item that does injectors and nothing dissolves carbon, gum could I suppose cause problems and this may be shifted with these cleaners, do not know what veggie does to injectors but guess gum could be part of the scenario, Rick

Costco often do an offer on 3 bottles of Redex. Basically about £12 for 3 big bottles. Each bottle does 4 tank fulls. I then run them through both trucks until I run out, then repeat the next time the offer is on.

When Rick and I changed the head my injectors were nice and clean, and the same when I had to replace no1 injector a couple of years ago.

I don't think its worrh spending on the expensive stuff, but as I run veg in both T2's, and did read it tends to gum up, places in the system, I am happy to use it when it is cheap.
