Up north but after my problems that isn’t going to be a problem in future. Unfortunately it’s my current circumstances that won’t really make travel very practical.

Well I'm close to Heathrow so not far from Brooklands Museum, if you are ever down this way and have the time let me know as I have a membership and can take two guests in with me. :thumbs

Looks like it will be a good gathering.
Also a bit of a trek for me and don't think i will be in any state to drive after tomorrow nights celebrations:lol

I went to the last gathering, had to think about that as it wasn't last year but this year, just! :lol I took a friends Jensen CV8 and by coincidence followed in and parked next to a similar Bentley to the one he owns.

There was a lot of nice stuff turned up of all types from Hot rods and Customs to mega expensive Classics, this was my car of the day to take home, Dodge Challenger. I did not get to find out if it was a genuine 426 Hemi R/T or a clone but it ticked all my boxes. :thumbs

I love the Jensens Wallace.
Here's one at the local Boxing Day meet a few years ago. A P541 model I think.

I'm not quite sure what that is to the left of it??? Haha

I have a love hate relationship with a couple of Jensen's from working on them, particularly that CV8! :lol That is a fine example of a 541R, one of only 193 built. If money was no object I would build a replica with modern underpinnings and 427 Cobra style arches just to confuse a few people. :augie

I so love classic cars, just wish I could get on top of my MGB GT but a lot of work to do and rarely have the time to spend on it.

I used to really enjoy working on and driving them, lately I have enjoyed giving them back more. I'm enjoying the Terrano as I can fix it at my leisure, it's cheap and it's part way to being a Classic at nearly 22. :)

I slept in a bit late New years day and decided not to go, turned out to be a record attendance and people being turned away.

Saw this Dart at a show down south about 30 years ago.

I remember when you could pick up a used Dart in the late 1960's for about £700 I loved the look of them, a tad back end happy but quick in its day being a V8 2.5 Jag engine!

Below is a kit car we almost bought but in the end settled for a 12 month old Mk1 MR2 T bar probably the best decision. They were built just over the border in Notts, the founder died a couple of years ago. His factory was some farm outbuildings!.

Triumpk Herald based Bond Equipe GT circa 1967.

I owned this Bond for about a year it was a twin carb Triumph Spitfire engined version.

The guy I sold it to kept it for over 20 years ! Last time I saw it it was painted black in a lock up garage in Derby sometime around 1987/8.

That my ex posing for me outside my parents house in Sutton on the Hill.
