Does anyone know what the thread size is for the rear axle breather fitting ? Was having a service done over the weekend, and the previous "moaner" must have sheared off the pipe from the fitting. :doh Are all of the breather fittings the same ? I'm thinking of replacing them all, and running extended plastic tubing to allow deeper wading. :thumbs

you're down the breakers EVERY week....:doh

I've just got the fitting left, with no pipe work attached. The flexi pipe to the solid pipe was cable tied up out of the way. The fitting comes out with a 12mm ring spanner. I was going to replace all 4 fittings with right angle breather fittings, and then run plastic extended pipes. My brother did this on his Disco, using pneumatic control systems fittings and pipework. 'Twas a proper job !

to be honest i think the standard set up is as good, id just replace the hose. thats all im doing. and ive had mine floating with no problems

Like extreme said this Nissan set up is is quite up to the job.

Nissan fit extended breathers as standard, Landroer don't thats why theres loads of extended breather kits on ebay for Landies an none for Nissans.

Thanks for the replies Guys, I'll stick to the standard set-up, but sort out the cream crackered fitting !
