I have one of these, does bend ever so slightly but not snapped yet (famous last words)

Just got a 24 inch from halfords using my trade card and paid 21 bucks and the lifetime warranty covers the end :thumb2

Seems definitive then :) I'll order one and it'll hopefully be here after Christmas now :)

I slide a steel pipe over a T bar. I have 1/2" and 3/4" drives. It can snap the nut, take care.

Done that before and still have the bar but it's just when you're working on someone else's car it looks a bit cowboy

Since I got mine, I have found I use it more often to hold the nut still, while undoing the bolt, than as a breaker bar... Being nice and long, it is easier to find somewhere substantial to allow it to sit wedged against, while you use a ratchet on the other side.

Nice!!! Never thought of that :clap

It ratchets and its made for everyday profesional use ie you wont break it

Agreed but its disadvantage is it is locked at 90 deg, the knuckle bar type is more versatile in that the bar can be at an angle, this helps when the bung is on top of a bulge in the box, Rick
