christ spot the new guy with all the question  :lol

Right I need some front pads and discs for mine 1997/1998 2.7tdi, ive read these come with different makes of calipers is this correct and without having to take the wheels off is there and obvious way to check :)

Ta

I would go for ebc pay little more but are very good

Thanks mate, just trying to find out if like mine they only came with one caliper on my style Maverick, just been for a quick look and can't see owt :doh

I have just ordered a set, looks good to me, will let you know what they are like when I got them, initially only for the off roader, as Slindon mud has trashed the lot, I have spare disks but well rusty and no pads, as my local factors want over £30 for a set this deal looks good, Rick

milner 4x4 thats where im getting my new discs from as soon as it warms up i did think about up rating them to fancy drilled and grooved but cant see the point as the originals do a decent job

but they want £22 per disk so does not leave a lot for pads, Rick

Are you talking about replacing the callipers? Rick

No fella, the pads are down to the metal and fair to say the discs are shot but went to order some discs and pads the other day and i was told I need to find out if my calipers are Lucas or Akikbo ( or something of that name ).

I bought that set from ebay for £51 not saying they'll be the best but compared to how they where I think Flintstone style breaking would have been better lol
