Wild horses wouldn't keep me away....
I'll bring the Audi if i have to.
Might just have to leave the long front flexible if the new One doesn't turn up.
I've just stretched the spring a at the moment so that there is no pressure on the valve.
Just got the front flexes and the axle pipes to do this morning. Give the beast a tidy out and we're good to go:thumb2

Just out of interest whats the benefit of braided hoses?

I've seen stainless steel braided for the mg's which do look good but wondered what they do different to standard rubber hoses.

Cheers

Jim, after a time, 18years now on my Troll, the rubber hoses start to give a bit. instead of the pressure transmitting to the calipers it effectively bulges the pipes.
The braided lines greatly reduce the swell in the pipes meaning that all of the force goes into the calipers.

I think my lines have too much give in them now as the pedal is reaching the end of the travel in the master cylinder, or so I guess.

Update to follow............or pics of the accident if I am wrong:eek:

They've done well at 18 years old then.

Well.... my last hose didn't arrive today:(
But all 4 caliper hoses are done and The rear axle to body one too.
what a difference in the pedal, it dosent feel like I'm hitting the end of the travel now:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2
Petrol Tank still weeping around the sender seal itself:nenau
Seems better when i loosen the cap as there seems to be a pressure build up, which seems a bit odd:nenau
