Braided brake lines

I've decided that the ep90 in the vents of my front discs will burn off at some point and the clouds of smoke will dissipate with time.
So I will hold off on another set of front discs and better use the funds to improve the brakes with a set of braided lines, I'm sure one of them has a weak spot and that is why I reach full travel and the stopping power is crap.

Who has braided lines and where from????

H E L on eBay do a set for £99 delivered and I can have the body to axle ones 4" longer to allow for the suspension and body lift at no extra cost.

Too many colour options but I think yellow would be a bit sexy....:augie

Braded lines look ACE !

Braided Lines will improve the pedal and be safer from damage but in my experience most of the pedal loss will be down to the brake calliper movement under load, the inherent movement in ABS valve blocks (if you have ABS) & the master cylinder not forgetting rear brake drum / linings clearances.

One of the worst brake pedals I have worked with were on the old BLMC Minis that had 12 " front wheel like the Mayfair. The single piston calipers were not even solid cast steel but were steel plates riveted together!

The best brake pedals I have encountered are on those vehicles with disc brakes front and rear with multi piston front callipers.
