None at all, in 2 wheel the auto lockers are free, and in 4 wheel the traction is such that it has little effect and as long as you are not in a rut can still steer pretty much as good as with a free diff but now you can keep going, absolutely ace, Rick

Sounds awesome :thumb2

So could a daily driver be welded up, if FWH are fitted ?

I think I would have reservations re welding up the diff on a road going motor, even with auto hubs, the conditions are not the same, for instance in snow you want 4 wheel but need on public roads a good degree of control, with a fixed diff you would lose that, in this case I would go for a Lokka, but then do you really want to subject your road going car to the hazards that this type of driving will entail, I would not, that is why I have Dirty Pig, it does not matter if I roll it or do other damage, but the strange thing is that because I can damage it without worrying it has suffered very little damage, but did have to completely strip the winch today as using it while under water saw mud and water into every part, all clean and reassembled now though, Rick
