this is why im confused

im looking into a VAN AAKEN box after a recomendation from a member on here :p
im swaying 90% towards the box now but still like the sound of a remap because if what "booster" says is true then more can be done

with the car being so young i dont want to cause any damage but the power in the low rev band is poor
by that i mean if im aproaching a junction and its safe to go and im doing around 10 mph and the car is in second gear i put my foot on the floor and its like the brakes are stuck on for about 10 seconds (may just feel that long  ) then the turbo kicks in and its off
does that make sence?
after

gone with the SPIDER brand from these guys
http://www.dieseltuner.co.uk/

3 year guarantee on box (although says 5 on the flyer he gave me today)
guarantee on engine
free upgrade when i change car(if common rail) with small charge for wireing loom if different

will keep you all informed how it goes

they also manufacture the venom box
running it for a few days then taking it off just to see the difference
but early indications are good
the mid range power is well up and when i put my foot down it goes boy how it goes
the reason for getting this one was because the power is spread about and not all on the top end
also if i drive steady the power/fuel is adjusted accordingly so its not over fueling
anyhow will see how it goes

these guys are really helpful
and i had at least 3 half hour or so conversations whilst i decided to get one or not and to be honest there was no pressure at all
even after we had had a test run i was asked whether i was happy

all in all im happy with the service so far

member discount!

Hello Shaggy,

Sounds as these really are making a big difference,

Did you ask them if they wanted to advertise with us and give our members a small discount? (10%),

Thanks, Mav.
