time to rip the towbar off and do the back 2

Just curious

What is the main use of yours going to be

Still can't see why you've put em on permanent when you could just attach them when you need em :nenau
& i think the tow bar is ideal on the rear end for recovery :nenau

If you need any help with body work :sly :naughty :D I'll be glad to help out with me grinder :augie

if i get stuck can you imaging trying to find a hole and screw one of those phuckers together whilst wet and cold ?

Not done the cold but have done the wet :doh

But you still have to attach the strop / rope etc :nenau

you normally connect strops when you start off roading so if/when you get stuck there attached to be used ... this is what the majority of my friends do so there's no balencing on bonnets etc when your stuck in water lol :thumbs

A note to shackles on trucks!

IN 2007 A VERY WELL KNOWN AND WELL LIKED PETTY OFFICER MARINE ENGINEER MECHANIC WITH A YOUNG FAMILY WAS KILLED ON HIS MOTORBIKE BECAUSE SOME DISCO DRIVING TOSSER USED TO DRIVE AROUND WITH 4 SHACKLES PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO HIS TRUCK, IF THEY WERE TIE-WRAPPED TO STOP THE PINS COMING OUT THEN FAIR ENOUGH, BUT HE DIDN’T.

AND AS A RESULT TO ONE OF THEM COMING OFF AND LYING IN THE ROAD, THE FATAL ACCIDENT FOLLOWED.

The tosser in the disco and the late rider of the bike lived on the same married patch.

“ If your going to leave them on secure them properly!”:thumbs

They'll probably get stolen pretty quickly anyway if he doesn't.

Really can't see the point at the front, the pig tail is so easy to attach to even when under water or mud, a shackle has to be undone first - ts all part of the "the look" I suppose, don't subscribe to that sort of cosmetics myself. Straps and shackles stay stowed away till they're needed. Once on though I'll leave em attached for the day - very rarely are they there for my use though :D

i hope people dont think im a do ********** gooder:D

im sitting on the fence with this one though, i can see all safety points:thumbs
