Is there any easy way I can find out if my fuel injection system is a Bosch one or otherwise?

I cant see anything giving it away and I need to buy an injector?

I think it should have a plate on the injector pump.

also i might have name on maf sensor.

pull the rubber wheel arch lining down on the drivers side and look through the gap between the chassis and the body you will see the makers plate on the side of the pump.

I also think that if it has the hitachi type maffs sensor it has a zexel pump and injectors and if it has a bosch maffs it will be bosch pump and injectors. I dont know this for certain but this has been the case on 3 vehicles that i have bought injetion parts for.

Cheers Chaps

I'll have a look this evening and see how I get on.

Looks like its going to be an expensive fix again

Last question- for the time being,

How easy or difficult is it to replace an injector on a T2.

Is it something I can do myself or should I just get a garage to do it?

very easy but you will need a special socket that fits over the injector or you may be able to use a ring spanner.

Cheers and its a Bosch

Injector replaced- not too bad in the end £240 fitted (nissan quoted me £198 for the part alone and Michael Page £212)

I can drive my T2 again without having to worry about being overtaken by milk floats and mobility buggies
