Hi All
I am still having wonderful power (or lack of issues) The No1 injector is giving me the right reading, so i dont think thats the issue (thank god!), full new exhaust, recent air/ fuel filter and oil change...... the list goes on!
I unplugged the maf (bosch one) and went for a drive about with out it, and have to say, i didnt really notice a differance! Which kind of makes me think that could be it!? But, on looking at the MAF unit - its as clean as a whistle inside - the grill has no gunk on it and its all shiny, and literally brand new looking inside. We pulled out a cassette looking piece (only way i can thing to describe it) from the top with little silver bits on it and it looked (as far as i know!) clean. Do these kind of MAFs have a 'giveaway' that they are knack*red? I know the other sort have little wires that need to be cleaned, but this looks like a sealed unit? Really need to get this power issue sorted now! Its ridiculous!
