I collect waste veg oil to filter down and use for fuel and this morning I collected a 50l clip top barrel which I found out, to my dismay, was not as well clipped as I thought! In trying to get it up (oooeeerr missuss) into the back it was angled slightly and now I have a lovely oily carpet at the back and the lasting smell of chipfat on every journey, covering up the other wonderous odours a 16 year old truck picks up!
So, I now greatly doubt my truck will rust through from the inside! :doh but I do need to clean the carpet and do something to stop this ever happening again.
Anyone created their own boot liners or have any recommendations for particularly good ones? I seen a suggestion for building one using pond liner, just not sure on how to stick it together to keep it in the right shape.
