Hi guys,
Got an interesting one here. My son bought me a boost gauge which we fitted, t-ing into the short 4" pipe off the back of the turbo.
Not sure if this is the best place to connect it to start with as when we took it out we got the boost up to 16psi when I believed 12psi was about the maximum.
Also to further complicate the issue mine is ex police and my son thinks it has had a stage 1 remap. I'm not 100% convinced but it pulls like a train through 4th and 5th compared to my last one.
So my question is would a remap increase the max boost pressure to coincide with the gauges reading or have I fitted it incorrectly or have a faulty one?
Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Also spent half a day with my compressor and a can of wayoyl sealing every nook and cranny and also my hair, any tips for getting it out of my hair would please my Mrs no end!!!

Read through some old threads and it would seem the gauge is fitted correctly and also readings go up to 17psi so all good there.

Waxoyl will wash out of hair if you are persistent, next time I'm going to employ a disposable shoe cover as hair PPE.

Cheers

I always opt for a swim cap and disposable decorators suit when I apply the stuff, it's nasty
