na you wont need it, old terrano dont break down at night. as they dont go out, Bacause the headlights are s..t:lol

Good idea.

However, is it possible to leave it switched on by mistake, even though it is now LED you don't want it flattening your battery.

After all if you flatten the battery, the light won't work when you need to look under the bonnet to see why the car broke down, or won't start....:doh :lol

I hope you put a suitable fuse in the live feed, near to the supply. :nenau
