Will the bonnet with a air scoop from a newer round headlight model 1998 fit fit my older 2.7 1996 terrano??? Just a mate has one and she said I could have if it fits

why would you want to swap it :nenau You're just gonna get crud all over your engine, although it will cool the turbo cooling pipe a bit more in theory, so it will act like an intercooler. A bit. In theory. Maybe.

Isn't there a problem at the front leading edge, didn't you have to fit the later headlights etc. The slam panel is the same if I remember.

Good point about the crud. The reason I was going to do it was to keep it cooler

If you need to keep it cooler there's somethig up with the cooling system, never heard of a TD overheatig unless there's something busted somewhere.

I bet it fits (unless - I can't remember - the non-Tdi to Tdi was a big facelift?).... manufacturers don't go round changing panels on low volume motors just for the sake of it....tooling costs are massive. Give it a go.:thumb2

paulllllyyyyyy your going to be soooooo wrong for a change. trust me it wont fit. the td is straight on the front of the bonnet, the tdi is curved.
but if you still have your black one pops id like it and the back door :augie

u said a facelift wouldn't fit a pre-facelift???

Make me an offer I can't refuse.....they are going on fleabay soon, possibly as a job lot, as I need the cash.....was gonna sell em to Adz but can't wait til he sets up n Jan - and he'll want 'em for tuppence LOL
