Hi,can anyone help me?.I recently aquired some side steps from a well known auction site. They are great however there were no bolts with it and like everyone i have 100s laying around but are either too big or too small. Can anyone tell me the size i need,i have a 1995 maverick 2.7td LWB.Thanks.

Nissan like a lot of other manufacturers have odd threads on some of their nuts and bolts. It may well be easier to tap the holes out and use some standard metric bolts. You may also find the origianl threads in the chassis are very coroded anyway.

are they the ones that bolt to the chassis?
if so they are a 10mm 1.25 pitch thread about 40mm long.
i sheared off a couple of bolts when i removed mine and had to drill and tap them out so i changed mine to m10 1.5 pitch thread as i had loads of bolts in that size.

i'm almost positive they are 10mm.
will have a look at the bolts i took out as you've got me thinking now:nenau

Thanks
