I just reverse ours in and slam on the brakes, then the boat just slips off the trailer into the sea. Simples

that is exactly what we did in the 70s with a two wheel drive car and a 16 foot Fletcher Arrow 16 foot speed boat, just make sure you have a line attached, it was my car and a mates boat, and I was not going to get it wet, but more important I was not going on the green slime with a rear wheel drive motor, steep ramp would not get off again, Rick
