hi. merry christmas to all. i have a terrano 2. 2.7tdi 1997 lwb model. with torsion bar lift, and 2inch spring spacers and new springs and pro comp rear shocks. and 31x10 kumho mt,s. truck sits at a good height, but am thinking about doing a body lift. has anyone fitted one of these 40mm kits from sdn direct? says that the kit can be fitted without any modifications. sounds really good. would be great if anyone that has fitted one could reply to give me an idea of how easy or difficult the body lift is to do? many thanks in advance. keep up the great work. best regards. paul:thumbs:thumbs

Dont buy them there they're way too expensive. Get them from http://xpajun.com/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=128
Dead easy to do but you'll have to mod the front and rear bumpers if you want stock look.
Quite a few of us have done it on here. In fact you can get them cheaper again but I cant remember who it was supplying them. Someone will remind us later
EDIT found them £25 plus bolts you can buy from your nearest bolt shop http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50mm-alum...931?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4cf7d68a33

hi mate. many thanks for your help. can i ask one more thing please _what size and length and thread type are the bolts? thanks so much for your help . very best regards. paul

I can't remember mate but I think they are M12 metric fine pitch. Oik one of yours out and add 50mm to it then you'll have the right length you need :thumb2
Front 4 are nut and bolt jobbies then the back end are captive. So do one of the front ones as they're dead easy. While you're there spray up all the rest with WD40 or better.

standard bolts are fine thread m12's 104mm long

Google Babs bolts, there every where. take one of your bolts in and say you want it 50mm longer. They did mine for me and for free (Dad knows the manager in the local one to us).

Do one side at a time too, loads of stuff on here to show you how. Take the front bumper off and the radiator fan suround and take out the steering bolt on the steering box. (I think you can get ways with not doing that bit, but i was told to so i did, although it never moved) Word of warning, the bolt that are in are a bugger to get out as they been in for every and as tight as buggery. You may need a long bar to crack them loose. As sugested, also remove the rear bumper, it make thing eaiser.
