Hey all you body lifters :D

After bodylift what have you done to your front fender inner rubber covers. Those which cover engine bay from all the dirt etc..

1) Took them off

2) Modified them to fit

3) Made new ones??

4) Something else, what?

Just thinking what to do with them... :nenau

They are still off on mine at the moment, due to the body going up 2" the holes don't line up anymore for the plastics to hold them in place.

I've got some really nice sheets of rubber that Elty has donated to me that I plan on using to make some new ones, going to trace round the old ones and make new holes :naughty

Write up in due course in my project thread with pictures when I get round to that job

Same here I've ordered rubber from ebay just ain't got round to it. But convinced its what made my injector fail as happens just after a big flood

I got some rubber sheet from Fleabay, and made a new pair that were 2" bigger. Only problem I had was the rubber was thicker, so I ended up having to get longer poppers to hold it in place.

Yep same here. The rubber I've got is 6mm thick as apposed to the original 3mm.
I've used tek screws to secure mine.
That reminds me I have got to re fit mine as I took them off when I had the camber done the other week :thumb2

Decided to modify the old ones to fit... They ain't so tight as they are with no lift, but close enough.. Basically they are mounted now only from the upper mounts. I think they provide pretty good cover even so.
