all the info should be in the download section...
yellow bar quick links second one down
Had a look there (downloads) but cant see it.
Just sitting here contemplating a bodylift and was wondering what diameter the bar needs to be and how many blocks will I need?
the lift blocks would need to be 75mm diameter. 10 needed for a lwb. - 8 FOR SWB
bumpers need to have brackets made to lift them back up to the height of body. - I JUST CABLE TIED THE SHELLS BACK UP BUT SHOULD HAVE PATTERN I MADE FRO BRACKETS SOMEWHERE
fan cowling has to be removed/modified - DIDN'T NEED T BOTHER ON MINE, FAN IS SUCH A POOR FIT TO COWLING
depending on how high you go you might need to extend the fuel filler hose into tank - ALMOST CERTAINLY HAVE TO DO THIS (MINE WAS log THOUGH SO DIFFERENT)
brake lines will need to be checked to see if there is enough give in them.
handbrake cable has to be moved. - ALL WERE FINE ON MINE
any wires that cross between body and chassis will need to be checked and lengthend if need be. - SLACKED EM OFF FRIST NONE NEEDED LENGTHENING
earth wire from engine to body may need lengthening. - DIDN'T HAVE TO
NEED TO MAKE ALL NEW RUBBER INNER WING SPLASH GUEARD THINGIES - I USED A BIT OF WAGON CURTAIN SIDE
If I only went 1.5" I couldn't go up to 33" tyres could I?
I was thinking more of 3".:thumbs
IIRC Bluebull was running 33's with a 2" suspension lift & a 3" body lift
