blower only works on number 4 setting

Hello to all i have a 1994 maverick 2.7 diesel with air con i have a problem with my heater blower only working on number 4 setting. having looked in the forum it shows where the resistor is located. i have looked for the said resisitor and mine does not appear to be there. does anyone know where i can locate mine thanks. brom

On my T2 the resistor was above the passenger footwell just behind the bottom of the glovebox

hi Brom.
the risistor is usualy set into the air ducting (for cooling) running from heater box back to blower motor .have you looked at the heater matrix replacement download i did you can see where the resistor is in one of the pictures.

I think on the 1994 its set on the left hand side panel of the passenger well. Its a sqaure shielded resitor, looks like a relay with a cage around it. 8)
