Blower fixed, thanks!

My blower fan succumbed to 'only working on 4' last night but thanks to you lot I done a solder quick fix, spending only about half an hour all in.

Hi scott, I did mine recently and it works ok, but today I was fitting a new radio, when I was testing it I found that the fm was perfect but am and longwave was usless with lots of noise drowning them out. I took a portable radio into the car to test the signal and found that when I moved the portable near the glove box longwave was drowned out with noise and in the footwell near the heater resistor it was terrific! anyone else noticed this? regards...bri

i got a similar problem, i thought it was my stereo up the wall, if i tune a local station and save it to ch 1 , then tune another local station i get a lot of static, change to ch1 and it,s crystal clear, so ch1 is ok all others are noisey with static. :nenau

i did repair my heater module awhile ago??? is it connected to this repair??

I have put the old radio back and its the same as the new. I dont normally use the longwave in the uk but do when in france to get the bbc so I have'nt tried it since the heater repair.
Have been out all day in yorkshire dales (Wednesday pensioners weekend!) tomorrow I will take out the heater control and investigate this mystery.... regards bri
