Sorted one problem then another comes along.car starts runs accelerates fine until you put your boot down and it gets to just over 2500 revs and it appears to give a loss of power as though there is a blockage but if you dip the clutch it will rev round to the red freely

Have you been running Diesel or Oil? As said it could be mini filter or Fuel Filter if so, I'd start there as they are the easiest and cheapest fixes. If that doesn't solve it try checking the fuel lines out, def sounds like a fuel starvation issue to me though

No lights have come on dash or anything the only thing puzzling me is under load it does it but when you dip the clutch it doesn't

No codes on TD Rick but mini filter more than likely all the same. After that it can be corroded fuel lines sucking in air. Have a spy over rear O/S chassis rail prime candidate area :thumbs
Fuel filter if it's not been changed recently. If it has check it's sealed properly .

Renewed fuel line to the engine and its run spot on will have a look mini filter Tom and try that

If you have recently replaced the Fuel filter, then these don't always seal that well, and let air in.

The general outcome of air getting in, is white smoke when you dip the throttle a few times.

Certainly sounds like fuel starvation, also just try opening the fuel filler cap, there will be a whoosh as air goes in, there is a small valve in a black plastic container that looks the same size as the old 35mm film canisters. 1 pipe in, 1 out.

You can see it in the off side wheel arch just over the chassis, attached to a bracket on the fuel tank.
This is the reason why there is a whoosh.
I am now an expert on replacing diesel fuel tanks...:doh

sorry for sounding dumb and for hijacking the post Paul, but i have noticed sometimes that i get a whoosh noise when i undo the filler cap?
