I changed the rear Dif oil on the terrano a few days ago. The difference it has made is huge. No more rumbling in reverse, seems smoother and the odd squeaky noise on the over run which I thought may have been in the clutch has gone as well. It was thick on disgustingly dirty and a lot of gooey build up around the drain plug. I think I will do it again in a few weeks time to make sure it is all flushed through. Really surprised at the difference it has made

That's something I feel I should do. I think I will :thumb2

What oil did you use & did you add any slip modifier?

Was a job I just didn't ever get around to doing on mine in 11 years :)

Check you can get the fill plug out first:doh:doh
Stud buster did the trick for me:thumbs

I managed to get a breaker bar under there to get the plugs out.

Was you gonna do it in the twelfth :lol

Sold it, rust just to much to repair, could push on one wind and other side moved too. :):)
Wasn't fixed at all.

On the plus side got £700 for a car was offered £200 scrap for :) had a few other issues too, all in need of Cash spending.
