hi I have a 2006 nissan navara which black smokes under accleration.
parts replaced as follows
New fully reckon engine
brand new cylinder head
4 genuine injectors
genuine airflow
blanked egr
New turbo
New boost solenoid
New suction control valve
help

you reckon that's ****ed with the fueling. I'll be well pissed if it is. do i get it mapped by the ecu or try to get it back to standard

I'd be happy with it :lol
However if you don't want it then a remap would have been a waste of dosh.So yep go and get it unflashed ;)

what i dont understand is a few specialists and forums say you cant remap a d40 through odb. so im lost. i had an economy map done but only improves on motorway. the map I got now was through obd. have i been blogged it does the odb map just truck the fuel rail sensor hence my black smoke

In the first instance I would be going back to the guy who did the remap and get him to verify whatever he did, Rick

Agreed, most flashes using the ODB method will give the option of making a backup of the current map which I hope he has done for you.

When my mate had his Range Rover done they gave him a copy on CD and USB
