I have had a N reg 2.4 petrol Mav and a T reg 2.8TDi T off the clock (on privates roades of course) its easy!

I just seem to get c rap 2.4s then :(
Must be some common fault that evades detection :?

I just get in and stick boot to floor...only off for gear change.
Best I've had was a 4500rpm scream in 4th (5th wont pull) doing a tad over 80. On a good day when it feels like it 85 in 5th :|

i chiken out when the speedo says 90mph..


my mini would start to go around again.. bu tthe engin and gearbox had been PLAYED with a touch
