You wish :D:D

No, not yet Zac. I have been considering all my options, from scrapping, repairing to dropping a new engine in it. In one of my searches on Patrol parts I came across these ridiculously priced axles.

I am hoping to know tomorrow by how much the bores are out of limits, if at all. Then I will talk to the engine shop about options and costs involved.

Ideally I wanted to swap to a pickup. But since the start of the pandemic their prices have gone through the roof. What I want cost £13k-£14k last year and now you are looking at £17k+.

Looks like it Zac.

The problem is the Bounce Back Loan scheme for smaller businesses. Meant to keep your business afloat during the disruption if the pandemic. However all the money is invested in new cars and machinery.

If you are looking to buy a new mini digger at the moment then earliest delivery is sometime next year! Indespension trailers have a backlog of 30000 trailers and they built roughly 1000 a week.

Prices will come down when smaller businesses have to start paying back the loan. First 12 months you don’t pay anything. Won’t be surprised if it puts some out of business.

Try checking prices of 4x4 in Portugal... Then you will know that everyone is crazy....

At least they won't be rotten like most 4x4s here

It's not just 4x4s and machinery It's Vans, Mountainbikes etc. 2nd hand pricing also rising because lack of supply from the downturn.

My mate sold his caddy for £500 more than he paid and put like 20-30k on it :lol

Scrap prices have gone up 3 days on the trot here in Bham!!! I know a place paying £63 a tonne now

Sadly, I think it will push usable cars and spares vehicles their way, not many people would want to pay that to either save mine or rape it for spares.
