bit of a problem

put diesel in the truck this afternoon (never locked it as wife was in there) then got back in and started her up and after about 2 seconds before i had chance to pull away she cuts out and the mil lamp starts flashing,tried to start it but not firing,took keys out of ignition and locked doors off fob,unlocked again off fob and she started straight away and touch wood all is back to normal again..strange i know but has anyone any ideas and is this the start of bad things to come.

look for the "how to" on reading codes i think its in downloads when u get code itll relate to your fault.
or if youve a freindly dealer ask them to plug into there scanner and theyll be able to read and clear fault codes

thanks jace but the lamp isnt on or flashing it only flashed the once before it got started,no light on now.even though there is no light on will there still be a fault?

Mine did exactly the same and also started, ran lumpy for a few seconds and then died. Turned out to be the ignition switch that is mounted to the bottom of the ignition lock.
