Bit of a odd one..

When I unlock the door with the key it will relock right away unless I open the door @ the same time, thought it was the superlock timer replaced it & still the same, any ideas??

someone else had this not long ago.... iirc it was something to do with the button switch that does the interior light... they was looking at

what's a superlock timer?

mine somtimes locks itself when you start up, particularly if i have had the ignition on but not running for a minute or two. i.e talking on bluetooth or listening to radio. It then unlocks when you turn the engine off

The way I have read into it it's just Nissan's own central locking. think it could be the door switch just turned the light on shut the door's and it stayed on for over 3 min's. :doh

Well looked at the door switches and they are fine, back to the drawing board.. :doh

I had same problem on my previous Carlton a few years ago.

The lock barrel had come loose inside the door and was triggering the micro switch.

Took off door panel tighned up mechanism & sorted.

The door lock pushes a bar have had the lock unit apart everything looks like it's working.

I would think that one of the doors is not unlocking properly and so the thing relocks to stay in sync, when you unlock get another person to listen at each door including rear, for a different sound, its worth a shot, Rick

thats just rung some bells ..... it was the rear door switch that plays up. ill see what i can find for you
