Best patrol engine?

Whereabouts in New Zealand are you,my mum came from Wairoa in the North Island?I'm in France and have got a 2.8TD Y60 Patrol,had a 4.2 Patrol as well,the mod for glow plugs is interesting to simplify the sourcing of the 4,5 and 6 plugs via the UK(expensive here in France):thumb2

parts are cheap here due to the flood of japanese cars, i paid 10 dollars nz for a set of four glow plugs for my TD27Ti not long ago.

Well do not know about best troll engine but my 3.0 sve just run it to Yarmouth four up fully loaded 31.5 mpg used no water or oil, that is brilliant as far as I concerned.
