Yep sure thing, esp on yours, infact it should be a bit longer too as you're lifting the back end. It stops the axle sliding out to the side:thumbs

so how long do you think? thinking of making it out of a solid stainless steel

Sorry mate I don't know but probably only about 15mm ish. Why not make one end adjustable so you can set it to suit whatever ht you end up with:thumbs
