Benefits of being a member ? !

Please can someone answer why I need to pay £10 to become a member??

I thought it was so I could post on the forum,to get advise and to be a member of what I think is a great club.
However today I noticed that a non member can start a thread and can post on, on going threads .
So, why did I have to pay to join, not that I mind because I have had my monies worth just reading some of the forums, some of you really do need to get a life .

Sorry husband said I should say from Louise as he doesnt want to cause problem's ( he may need help with the Maverick later) but hey us women have thick skins.... lol

BAT will no fill in the detail but non members can only see into certain areas, can only post in certain others and only start threads in others. Non members can't PM either I beleive or access some of te other stuff like the downloads I think.

Many thanks, is there a time limit on non members ie after so many threads do they have to become a member or after so many log in's etc.
Just curious that's all...... and before someone else says it yes arn't all women.

Do not think non members should be able to post.I was under impression they can see certain parts of site and then decide to join.:nenau:nenau:nenau

I have altered registered users (none Club Members) permissions slightly now in an attempt to get registered users more involved:-

• None Club Members do not see the link to the downloads section.
• None Club Members can see the General section and it's content and post in there.
• None Club Members can see the Technical section but not the thread content.
• None Club Members can see the Club Meetings section but not the thread content.
• None Club Members can not send PMs.

As far as how much info is given to none Club Members, well I guess that's up to individual responders but encouraging them to join the Club by answering a few tech questions would be a good move.

When I joined 2 years ago I asked a question which the guys here answered, I paid my £10 and joined because the advice I got was useful :thumb2

As some already know, I paid 500 tenners to buy/save the Club and hopefully take it forward by by creating a more relaxed Club... if I fail then someone sitting not to far from me might just end up wearing my balls as ear rings

This thread was started because being a nosey woman I was reading one of the other threads and saw what I thought was a non member contributing to a thread however on further investigation I find that he is member but just had his aviator looking as if he was a non member ( hope this make sense but I have had one to many guinness now and all the keys are looking the same)
